THE SMILE OF FREEDOM
I’ve never seen
the face of freedom
But I’ve touched
the breeze of its smile
Captured in the
brace of its happiness
We held hands
and danced
It carried me to
the centre of its moon
We laughed with
grace
And I saw the
beauty in its smile
I will treasure
that smile forever
